Eco-Church Commission
8m wide window painting installation
Climate care has become an essential topic for discussion, prayer and action in the world and the Christian church. I was approached by the eco-team at Church on the Heath, Fleet to create a simple window painting that communicated this to the community.

The design I made, which also doubles as a colouring sheet, shows how God made the world in love, and how whilst it is in his hands, it is also in our hands to care for it.

Whilst installing it, I had the opportunity to interact with the public, both within the church's onsite coffee shop and people passing by. This is one of the reasons I love doing big installations and community projects.
The project encouraged parents and children to discuss the climate crisis, and conversations along those lines could be heard regularly as parents to their children to the nearby school.

This installation made with glass specific chalk paints was in place between May and July/August 2019.
