Birds

I have always loved birds. As a child we kept chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks.  As an adult I went on to have budgies, a ring necked parakeet and many more chickens. One of my greatest pleasures has been to watch birds in their natural habitat. As an artist, it is exciting to explore their form and colour in a variety of ways and also use them represent something else: a moment, a memory, an idea.
